As for the raw land, most of the acreage is located outside the Bakersfield city limits in the cities of Wasco, Shafter and McFarland. This would be agricultural land for the most part. Browsing through the Bakersfield MLS listings for land at this time will produce acreage and even several very expensive equestrian ranch properties with multiple acres, barns, stalls, and a luxury ranch home to enjoy as well. The majority of horse farm property is located in the Northwest areas in Bakersfield.
